What is ALS 710?

ALS 710 is an antiscalant and dispersant dedicated to reverse osmosis plants running on well water and groundwater of low to moderate salinity. Its formula is calibrated specifically for this water type, where the dissolved load is relatively lighter but the supersaturation ratio is high — the exact condition under which calcium carbonate crystals form quickly on the membrane surface.

It works within the pretreatment stage before water enters the membranes, keeping salts dissolved and dispersed rather than letting them crystallize onto the membrane. The result: stable production over time, operating pressure kept within its normal range, and fewer, lighter chemical-wash cycles.

ALS 710 is one of the lines we export outside Libya — shipments of it have gone to the Syrian market.

Dosage & Method of Use

Recommended dosage is 2 to 10 ppm, determined by raw-water analysis, the source water’s salinity, and the plant’s treatment stages. Injected before the fine cartridge filters, either concentrated (100%) or from a diluted solution.

Packaging & Shipping

ALS 710 is delivered in 20 kg drums, with a shelf life of three years from production date. Widely available for delivery within Libya from our Misrata plant and our Tripoli branch, and for export through our Jordan and Algeria branches.
