ALS 750 — Antiscalant for Seawater

What is ALS 750?
ALS 750 is the line of the ALS range dedicated to seawater desalination plants. Seawater puts membranes under far harsher conditions than groundwater: salinity above 35,000 ppm, high operating pressure, and a constant presence of sulfates, calcium and fine suspended solids.
The ALS 750 formula is calibrated for these conditions, so it stays effective at the high ionic strength where antiscalants designed for low-salinity water lose their performance. It maintains membrane permeability and delays the rise of differential pressure across the pressure vessels.
The practical difference: longer membrane life — the most expensive component in any desalination plant — lower energy consumption, and fewer chemical cleanings per year.

Dosage & Method of Use
Typical dosage is 2 to 10 ppm of the feed flow, adjusted according to the seawater analysis, recovery ratio and temperature. Injected by a dosing pump before the cartridge filters, either neat or from a diluted solution.
Dosing for seawater demands more precision than for groundwater — send us your analysis and we’ll calculate it for you.
Packaging & Supply
ALS 750 is supplied in 20 kg drums, with a shelf life of three years from production date. Available for immediate delivery within Libya and for export.
