ALS 720 — Antiscalant for Reverse Osmosis Membranes

What is ALS 720?
ALS 720 is an antiscalant and dispersant designed to control fouling of reverse osmosis membranes and the deposition of salts on their surface. It is dosed in the pretreatment stage, before water enters the membranes, preventing scale formation and keeping both production rate and operating pressure within their normal ranges.
Regular use reduces chemical-cleaning cycles, lowers the energy consumption caused by rising differential pressure, and extends the service life of the membranes — the most expensive component in any desalination plant.

Dosage & Method of Use
Typical dosage is 2 to 10 ppm, precisely determined by raw-water analysis, recovery ratio and plant design. The product is injected by a dosing pump directly before the cartridge filters, either neat or from a diluted solution.
Our engineering team will calculate the right dosage for you free of charge — send us your water analysis and plant data, and we’ll reply with the recommended dose.
Packaging & Supply
ALS 720 is supplied in 20 kg drums and is available in large quantities for immediate delivery within Libya from our Misrata head office and our Tripoli branch. We also supply the rest of the ALS range of water treatment chemicals.
